The Holistic Systems (HOST) department at Simula Metropolitan Center for Digital Engineering (SimulaMet) conducts research on communication systems, distributed computing, privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-driven network intelligence.
Our mission is to design and analyze digital infrastructures that are efficient, robust, privacy-preserving, and sustainable — addressing challenges that arise from the interaction between users, applications, and networks.
